Background
Having earned my MBA from Southern Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Clemson University, I love the outdoors and being in the woods and on the water. Born in Greenwood and residing in Newberry, SC, I was five years old when my family moved to Lake Greenwood full time. Either on the pier or out on the boat, as a kid growing up on Lake Greenwood I'd go fishing early in the mornings before school whenever the weather and my parents both permitted.
Shortly after graduating high school, my brother moved to Charleston, SC where he’s been living and working in the dock repair and boat lifts and services industry for nearly twenty years. He now owns his own boatlift business based there in Charleston, SC with exclusive distribution rights for multiple brands in several states. His focus is primarily the coastal regions of SC, NC and GA.
The distance from Charleston to the Midlands and Upstate South Carolina causes the cost to service those areas to skyrocket. As such, he has been turning down business or pricing himself out of it in those areas.
The central location of Newberry, SC allows affordable, reliable service to the Midlands and Upstate markets without any overlap or competition with each other’s customer base.
